This is an AMA 424 plane that was originally designed and built by Bob Harris. I saw this plane fly at the Oct 2012 Old Julian Airport race and it was very fast and stable. The thing that got my attention so much was that it had a built up wing. Today most of the wings are sheeted foam. so a built up wood wing aka woodie wing is a rarity.
