I supplied the servos for the elevons and they are installed and ready to go. Everywhere there are threads in wood i strengthen the threads with thin ca to soak in. Sometimes I need to retap the holes after caing them.
I use the Spektrum 5000/5010 servos and supplied the servos, arms, and the mounting screws.
Wow! I only need to cut a hole and mount the aileron servo and then cover the wing and it is done.
Nice skin hinges on the ailerons
Wing tips are ready to cover maybe some minor sanding.
Wing bolts go into hardwood dowels that go all the way through the wing
I have two other of these planes that the same person built and I need to sand the dowels slightly to get them just right.
There is no play in the aieron linkage and with the skin hinges it doesn't get any better.
